OPW Contractor Induction
This OPW Contractor Induction is for contractors operating on behalf of the OPW.
It will assist you to comply with your legal obligations and management requirements of the OPW.
When you complete the induction, your certificate will be emailed to you and the relevant Health & Safety person in OPW.
Use your regular email address.
If you use your regular email address a copy of the certificate will be emailed to that address.
It is also easy to recover your password if you forget it and need to login again.
Course Registration First Time
To access the course it is necessary to register using the registration form. Please read the notes below to ensure you experience no difficulties registering.
Use the Course Code you received in the email from OPW BMS Health & Safety.
First time users on SITEPASS will have to register here:
Course Registration, Previously Registered
If you have registered on SITEPASS previously then login here:
And put the Course Code in the Additional Courses Box and Redeem the Course.
You will need a valid SafePass card to complete this Contractor Induction.
During the induction, you will be asked to input your SafePass number and expiry date. You will also be requested to upload an image of your SafePass card.
You can upload the image of your SafePass from your computer or your smartphone gallery.

Your Profile Page
The first page you see when you Log In is your Profile Page. Here you can see the courses you have registered for.
Simply click on the course title to begin.
Don’t Forget to Log Out
Before you go, just click on the Log Out button. You will see it on the top right-hand side of the page in the menu bar.
Just In Case!
If you have difficulty registering you may see this screen.
You have checked that you have the right course code but you get this message saying that “the code you entered is not valid.”
This issue is caused by a blank space before or after the code.
This can happen when you copy and paste the code. You may have selected a blank space with the code when you copied the code.
Just “double click” on the code to select it, then copy and paste or just type the code with no space before or after it.
